Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 19 July 2026

By using Cabmart's rider app, driver app, or website (the "Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

What Cabmart is

Cabmart is a technology platform that connects independent riders and drivers for one-way outstation taxi trips anywhere in Tamil Nadu. Cabmart itself does not own vehicles or employ drivers — drivers are independent operators who use the Service to find ride requests near them.

Zero-commission, pay-the-driver-directly model

Cabmart charges riders nothing to use the Service, and takes no commission or cut from a driver's fare. The fare shown before you book is the fare the driver keeps — you pay your driver directly, in person. Toll and parking charges are billed separately, at actual cost, and are never folded into the quoted fare.

Driver eligibility and wallet

Drivers must submit a valid driving licence, vehicle registration certificate, permit, and vehicle/photo details for review before being approved to accept rides. Cabmart may approve, reject, or later suspend a driver's account at its discretion — for example, for false documents, repeated cancellations, or safety complaints.

New drivers receive a number of free completed rides. After that, continuing to accept rides requires ride credits purchased through the driver app's wallet (via Razorpay) — see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for how these purchases work. A credit is only deducted the moment a trip actually starts (OTP confirmed at pickup), never just for accepting or being assigned a request.

Referral program

Drivers may share a personal referral code with other prospective drivers and riders. Referral bonuses (free ride credits) are granted only once the referred person completes a real ride, are capped per referrer, and Cabmart may withhold or reverse a bonus it reasonably believes was earned through fraud or abuse of the program.

Cancellations and no-shows

Riders can cancel a booking before a trip is underway. Repeated cancellations or no-shows, by either a rider or a driver, may affect that account's standing or future access to the Service. A driver who cancels after accepting a ride does so at a cost to their own reliability standing on the platform.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information — your phone number, name, and (for drivers) vehicle and document details.
  • Use the Service lawfully and treat other riders/drivers respectfully.
  • Don't attempt to manipulate fares, ratings, or the referral program.
  • Report safety concerns immediately — use the in-app SOS feature or call 112.

Liability

Cabmart is an intermediary platform, not a transportation carrier. Trips are carried out by independent drivers using their own vehicles. To the extent permitted by law, Cabmart is not liable for the conduct of riders or drivers, or for accidents, delays, disputes, or losses arising from a trip itself — these are matters between the rider and driver directly, and, where applicable, a matter for local authorities or insurance. Nothing in these terms limits your ability to contact emergency services.

Changes to the Service or these terms

We may update these terms or change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the courts of Tamil Nadu.
